Product Description
This Koch steam steriliser electrically heats water and the steam produced, disinfects small unwrapped instruments and other non-porous equipment.
Featuring double skinned walled chamber for insulation purposes with removable shelves for ease of loading. The lid is designed to ensure condensed steam runs back into the chamber. Lifting handles on both the unit and lid which features an 18mm diameter thermometer/thermocouple entry port.
For water level control the Koch steriliser has a filling port and water level indication in an external reservoir. Connect laboratory tubing to filling port and a water supply and adjust the water flow to gently top up the water level to maintain boiling.
This unit is not intended for sterilisation of equipment used in clinical care of patients.

In operation always connect the filling port in the external trough with laboratory tubing to a water supply, adjust the flow to gently top up the water level to maintain boiling.

Notes
This is a traditional bench top steam steriliser which displaces air passively from the chamber by the steam generated within the steriliser. It is known as a ‘Type N’ cycle, being the simplest type and least expensive to purchase, operate and maintain. Suitable for load type ‘non-wrapped solid items.’ Not to be used for hollow devices or wrapped items. Drain and clean chamber and reservoir at the end of each day and leave dry.Specifications
